Peaks Island Radio is the only community radio station for island news, information, and events. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, we feature music variety and island events. Our future plans include island-made shows from public affairs to music, and interviews with islanders of all stripes – from authors and artists to business owners and long-time islanders.

Our upcoming shows include the Island Reader – a program where island authors share excerpts from their work, the People of Peaks where we profile islanders and help you get to know your neighbors, and coverage of live events like Peaks Fest and Trivia Night. Every weekday morning, you can wake up to the latest information with First Light, our take on a morning show, featuring the community calendar, in-depth talks about island events, island birthdays and milestones, and an eclectic mix of music.
Throughout the day, you will hear an eclectic mix of music plus tide reports, local announcements, and specialty programs made by islanders for the island.
