Happy Thanksgiving!

At Peaks Island Radio, we have a lot to be thankful for – family, friends, a good community. We’re also thankful to all of our listeners, volunteers, and donors. Here’s a short thanks to some of the folks who’ve put their time and love into bringing you Peaks Island Radio:

Dave Stankowicz, who produces a weekly program dedicated to Beautiful Muisic.

Rick Ashton, who, in 2023, has grown to produce two weekly programs featuring jazz & blues, and music from around the world, respectively.

Faith York, who complies and delivers the Island Update, three minutes of community events and information all in one place.

Margo Mallar, who produces a combination music and talk program focusing on the music that her islander guests choose to play and discuss, while always going deeper into their lives or issues in the community.

Ellen Mahoney, who connects the island, and Peaks Island Radio, with passionate trad musicians, ensuring we have the opportunity to hear from the artists themselves, in addition to hosting and arranging the concerts.

The Peaks Island Community, who continue to support the station through listening, and financial assistance. Without your support, this project would not be possible.

Thank you all, and I wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
