Winifred Horan comes to Peaks Island June 17th at 8pm with her new venture, the Winifred Horan Quartet. She’s a founding member of the Irish group Solas and a lifelong musician. Horan also teaches at the New England Conservatory of Music. In this conversation, we talk about her musical roots, her deep appreciation for her dad’s role in her musical and cultural life, and why genres are too limiting for music.
