Peaks Island Radio Celebrates Five Years!

We started Peaks Island Radio with a mission to have fun making radio and playing music for our local community at Peaks Fest 2019.

Little did we know that the very next year would bring a global pandemic. Nevertheless, we’ve conducted over 50 interviews with islanders and artists who’ve come to Peaks, we’ve established several specialty music shows, and recently conducted our first panel on the Island Assessment and the future of the island.

This year, we’re also adding live coverage of popular island events such as the St Christopher’s Church Fair, the Peaks Island Road Race, and, of course, PeaksFest, where it all began. Come say hi down at the Dock on Saturday at Peaks Fest.
